  • International Congress on Behavioral Studies: Please join us for the 9th Congress on the beautiful island of Crete on September 20-21, just prior to the EABA conference. The Congress was founded in 1992 by Emilio Ribes-Inesta and Peter Harzem as the International Congress on Behaviorism and the Sciences of Behavior. The theme of the Congress is behaviorism as a philosophy of science and empirically based issues in the sciences of behavior. The Honorary President for 2010 is Fergus Lowe. The Invited Speakers are: Paul Andronis, Per Holth, T.V. Joe Layng, Jack Marr, Francis Mechner, Gary Novak, and Hayne Reese.

  • In memoria: MASAYA SATO, former president of ABAI, Emeritus Professor of Keio University, and current President of Seisa Uniiveristy died Monday August 23 after being knocked off a crowded train platform. He was 77. O. IVAR LOVASS, pioneer behavioral researcher best known for his standard treatments for autism, died Monday August 2 at the age of 83.
